The HINTS Project

The HINTS means High-performance Numerical Tools & Software. The aim of the HINTS project is to develop high performance libraries for scientific and engineering calculations. The libraries contain parallel libraries for distributed and sheared memory parallel machines, compilers, translators, visualization tools, and tools for debugging. However, we are developing parallel numerical libraries now.

This project is organized several small projects, called working groups. The active working groups are follows.

NADIA (Numerical Applications for DIstributed Architectures) Working Group

To develop high performance parallel numerical libraries for distributed memory parallel machines is main aim for the NADIA project.

I-LIB (Intelligent LIBrary) Working Group

To develop numerical libraries with auto-tuning facilities is main aim for the I-LIB project.

You can obtain information for the HINTS project from the HINTS Project WWW page .
